I spent an evening taking droplet photographs with my Pluto Trigger and for once had a pretty high “hit rate”. Rather than leave the images on my hard drive never to be seen again, I thought I’d share some of them here.
The images are taken with the Nikon D5300 and Sigma 105mm f/2.8 macro lens. Once again the Sigma exceeds all expectations with highly detailed and contrasty images. With the additional working room, the front element of the lens was not at risk of being hit by the milk/water mix and with the DX’s increased depth of field, I was able to capture droplets in much better focus.
