Start Over?
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
After nine years, sadly my website met its demise. It turns out that, no matter how meticulously you maintain your site, applying security updates etc, it’s possible for a vulnerability within the WordPress core itself to exist, and to expose your website to malicious code. So it was with this, my website of nearly a decade.
I’m not sure how I will proceed. To be honest, I’m feeling somewhat deflated and lacking the enthusiasm that would be required to build another website from scratch. I’m thinking about it, but for now I don’t think there will be much here to see.
I’ll see how I feel once my thoughts have settled a bit.
